2008-2009

 

 

1.          Professional Saleswomen of Nevada Standing Rules will be approved by the Board of Directors annually.  They will be distributed to the membership and to all new members.  A member may request an amendment to the standing rules at any time by submitting a written request to the Board of Directors.  If the Board accepts the amendment, the revised Standing Rules will be presented to the members.

 

2.          The members of Professional Saleswomen of Nevada will abide by the PSN Mission Statement and bylaws.

 

3.          The executive board may approve bills up to $500.00, without the approval of the membership.

 

4.          For themselves and their guests, members must RSVP for monthly meetings by 5p.m., on the Thursday preceding the meeting.  Members who make a meal reservation and do not attend the meeting will be billed at the regular fee.

 

5.          Members may RSVP for the full year and must cancel if they are unable to attend.  Members may also pay for a full year in advance and receive one month free, however, no refunds will be made if they are unable to attend a meeting.

 

6.          There is a difference in meal cost for members and non-members.  The meeting fee for members with a reservation is $20.  The fee for members without a reservation is $25.  Guests may attend, with or without a reservation, and will be charged $25.00.  Guests will receive $5 worth of raffle tickets on their first visit.  NSF check fee is currently $20, subject to change without notice.

 

7.          Guests may attend 2 meetings within a 6 month period and will then be asked to apply for PSN membership.

 

8.         A networking table will be provided at each meeting, for members only.  It is the members’ responsibility to collect their items from the table at the end of each meeting.  At meetings that are not designated as extended networking meetings, members and guests may distribute unsolicited business cards and/or information to those seated at their table.  At extended networking meetings, members may distribute unsolicited information, promotional materials, etc., to all attendees.

 

9.          Members who have a multilevel marketing business may not solicit for their Down Line at meetings or from the members.

 

10.       Members are encouraged to freely network and exchange information with one another, but may not use PSN meetings as a storefront, to sell or display any items or services for point-of-sale purchase.

 

11.       The Audit Committee will consist of 3 or more members in good standing, appointed by the President.  The Treasurer will provide the committee with thorough and accurate records for every transaction.  The annual audit will be made in September, prior to transfer to the new Treasurer.  The board may request an interim audit at any time.
